Severe pain 11 months after radiation

Was diagnosed with lung cancer right upper lobe May of 2023. I can only have radiation because they wouldn't do a biopsy on my lungs cuz I have severe COPD. Cancer was stage 1. I was treated with 10 radiation treatments. 11 months later I go into severe pain in my ,spine , scapula and armpit. After months they finally decide I have. My third rib is fractured and it's damaged from radiation. Has anyone else experienced this pain? Blew my mind that it took 11 months for the pain to start.
