Has anyone had a PET scan that had 'clusters of tumor cells'..

My husband just had a PET scan and had 4 tumors that lit up...Yesterday he had a biopsy of the lung..Multiple
clusters of tumor cells were seen. Consequently, the procedure was
terminated the remaining material was submitted for histologic and
cytologic analysis..
