Has anyone had a PET scan that had 'clusters of tumor cells'..
My husband just had a PET scan and had 4 tumors that lit up...Yesterday he had a biopsy of the lung..Multiple
clusters of tumor cells were seen. Consequently, the procedure was
terminated the remaining material was submitted for histologic and
cytologic analysis..
My lung cancer was also bunched up thats what lights up the screen the cancer cells
