Help for a cough getting worse after 1st round of chemo?
My Mom has non small cell stage 3C .. she had her 1st treatment this week. The last 2 days her cough has gotten worse, to the point it interrupts her sleep. She takes Codeine cough syrup but it’s not helping anymore. She used nebulizer and it got worse.. anyone have a similar experience and if so what helped you??

How has she been feeling aside from the cough? In addition to comments from the community here, have you shared about the cough with her healthcare team? They may be able to provide something for relief, tips, or something to try. Many find palliative care specialists very helpful for managing treatment side effects as well if you or she have not yet spoken to one!
