How I was diagnosed.

Diagnosed in October 2025. Went for results of pulmonary function test for pulmonary fibrosis. Doc said pft was good..but. There was something in my rt. lung not seen before. My heart sank and that was the beginning of my cancer journey.After many months of mis communication, wrong lab results, misplaced(?) medical records, and weeks of waiting for appointments, I was able to start treatment in April 2026. Had 30 Radiation treatments and 6 chemo.I finished in March. I am now doing Immunotherapy. I’m experiencing some “ typical “ side effects but able to manage fairly well. I’m grateful for every day.
