Do you experience scanxiety?

When it comes time for another scan, feelings of anxiousness, nervousness, and stress can come up.

How do you feel when it comes time to check on the progress of your lung cancer? Do you feel that feeling of "scanxiety"? How do you typically cope with these emotions?

  1. I don't get scanxiety.
I'm a believer in letting the chips fall where they may.

    1. I am glad to hear that you don't experience this. How have you been feeling lately? Jill (Team Member)

  2. I've been busy with hurricane Milton. I made an appointment for a PET scan for December 27. No other oncology appointments!!! I'm happy about that. I feel good, and have an inner satisfaction that I completed treatment and eliminated cancer from my system

    1. I hope you did not have much damage from the hurricane. I can understand why you are happy that your treatments are done and that you don't have any more oncology appointments. That is great. Jill (Team Member)

      1. hi Jill. The water here receded in two days, but other areas are still suffering. My neighbor to my right had his carport destroyed. My neighbor on my left had a huge tree limb crash through the roof. I was lucky this time. Thanks for asking.

      2. you are lucky! Such a horrible storm. Jill (Team Member)
