Didn’t know where to go to share my thoughts

My husband is my caregiver (although I still do everything,I am trying to keep our lives as normal as possible). He doesn’t have any questions for my doctors, he doesn’t want to go to any doctor visits, and when I talk about new test results,if there is anything not good he gets mad. So I try not to tell him much as to not get him mad. He won’t talk to a psychiatrist or therapist, he barely talks to me. We have never liked change in our lives, the diagnosis has been a crazy hard situation to cope with. Is this normal?

  1. Hi , I can understand both sides. He is in denial, and not talking about it helps it not be real. You, however, do need to talk about it, and to have support. Do you have anyone else in your circle who can be that person for you in the meantime? Please know that were always here to share support. - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)

    1. Not really, I have always had a very small circle. The people I have to talk to don’t understand & I know they mean well but they don’t help. Thanks for listening, I appreciate it. Taffy

      1. (((Hugs))) , we are here to listen anytime you need an outlet. We're always here to listen.

I also wanted to share a resource I found that may help you connect with help and resources for tough days. https://www.lungevity.org/patients-care-partners/support-services - Warmly, Donna (Team Member)
