Samantha Murrell

MurrellSamantha Murrell is a Utah-based lung cancer advocate, outdoor enthusiast, avid hiker, fitness lover, wife, and proud dog mom to her German Shepherd, Opie.

Samantha was diagnosed with Stage IV non-small cell lung adenocarcinoma with a HER2 mutation at just 37 years old. Prior to her diagnosis, she lived an active lifestyle, spending much of her time exploring the outdoors, hiking mountain trails, traveling, and embracing adventure with her family and beloved dog.

In a rare approach for metastatic lung cancer, Samantha underwent surgery to remove half of her lung as part of her treatment journey. Throughout the challenges of diagnosis and treatment, she has remained committed to staying active, finding joy in nature and traveling.

Today, she uses her voice to advocate for lung cancer awareness. By openly sharing her experiences, she hopes to help others navigating lung cancer feel less isolated, more informed, and empowered to face their own journeys with hope and strength.

Samantha is passionate about connecting with fellow patients, supporting the lung cancer community, and reminding others that even in the most difficult circumstances, they are never alone.
