My cancer

My story started in February. I went to urgent care because I was throwing up, they did a CT scan and there I found out I had lung cancer. I had to go get a brain MRI to see if I could get a biopsy. Come to find out I have stage 4 brain and lung cancer. I started radiation on the brain and chemo on the lung. I am starting to do much better now, but it been a long and hard road to recovery.

  1. Glad to hear you are doing better now, the advances made recently have allowed late stage lung cancer to reach stability. Please feel free to reach out anytime, we are here to share and support each other. Wishing you all the best, Alisa, Lung Cancer Team Patient Leader
