Who can help me navigate my diagnosis and treatment if I am struggling?

  1. There are a number of online support groups that have survivors with many years of experience and knowledge. I also do one on one Lifeline support with the newly diagonosed. I can share 8 years of experience in a one hour conversation. So reach out and don't go it alone.

    1. There are many ways to get the support you deserve during your diagnosis and treatment. Oncology Social Workers are available to help be a support and advocate for you throughout your cancer care and beyond; they are highly specialized in the field of cancer and able to help patients and families cope with unique issues they may be facing to help improve their quality of life (https://lungcancer.net/living/find-your-advocate-oncology-social-work). Support groups, online or in-person, can also be a great help (https://lungcancer.net/living/why-join-a-support-group).
