What Have You Learned

What are some things you've learned about lung cancer, that you didn't realize prior to being diagnosed?

From a caregiver's take, I find it interesting that anyone with lungs should consider the importance of a CT scan in early detection.

  1. I learned I have to be my own advocate and if something doesn't sound or feel right, question it and if necessary, get a second (or third) opinion from a different comprehensive cancer center. ~ Alisa
