Skin eruptions and blisters on hands and feet Kendra

After my 4th infusion I started having mouth sores and eruptions on forearms and thighs. Most recently I have blisters and swelling on hands and feet. Special Dermatologist at MSK is taking this on but we seem to be behind curve. Anyone with these side effects. Good news is drug is working very well.

  1. Glad to hear the drug is working well, but I am so sorry you are experience those side effects. I didn't have those particular side effects, but hopefully others with that experience can join in on the discussion and talk about what helped them. Have you spoken to your doctor about "Magic Mouthwash"? That seems to help with mouth sores. Please feel free to update us, we are here for you and to support each other. 1. Hi . First, let me echo Alisa in saying it is great news that the treatment is going well against the cancer. People here definitely understand the battle with side effects and the impact they can have on quality of life. Glad to hear you are seeing a specialist as only a medical professional can provide the proper diagnostics. Do you mind if I ask what treatment you are on? Some community members may recognize similar reactions related to the treatment. Hoping you get some relief soon and continued success with the treatment. Best, Richard (LungCancer.net Team)

          2. Hi . I know that dupilumab (Dupixent) in conjunction with Keytruda is currently in clinical trials in relation to use for NSCLC (see: https://ascopubs.org/doi/abs/10.1200/JCO.2022.40.16_suppl.TPS9139). Your doctor may be able to provide further information. Wishing you the best. Richard (LungCancer.net Team)
