Scanxiety is when there's a heightened level of stress pre-scan or awaiting scan results. How would you describe your emotions when waiting for CT scans or other results? What action word describes your feelings in a lumpsome?
I don't get uptight about it. Not at all, really. I prepare myself to accept and deal with the outcome . It must be due to my years in the courtroom as a trial attorney.

Yes, perhaps being a trial attorney helps with processing it all. It's good you have this type of backup as many don't. Thank you for sharing 😀 Wishing you the very best! Yolanda (Team Member)

I have had so many scans and my results were always the same...yes, you have cancer. I have to say I am rather numb to the news anymore. Been dealing with cancer in my body in different areas for the past 25 years or more. Seems strange, but I am used to being told "You have cancer". I just accept the news and say what's the next step....when's the surgery? Acceptance is my only saving grace.
