What should you do if your doctor doesn't give you the additional resources upfront after a diagnosis? I know for many it can become a mystery race of finding who, what, and where in a timely fashion.

I would join community such as this one and some reputable non profits and find a list of questions to ask and things needed to know for the newly diagnosed. Unfortunately, many hospitals still don't provide resources or referrals to a social worker without being asked. Important topic, thanks! ~ Alisa
