Experiences with prophylactic cranial irradiation?
Hello I am looking for your experience with radiation to the brain after you were treated with chemo and chest radiation for LS-SCLC. Just finished up chemo and radiation to chest and have an appt. with radiation doctor who will most likely suggest brain radiation but it scares me so looking for help thank you!

I'm sure this is a scary time with all of these overwhelming procedures. My mom's cancer also spread to the brain, and I recall a few rounds of radiation. Check out a few posts on the matter- wishing you the best. Please review with your oncologist all the questions you may have on this.
