Remembering Alisa Brenes

We are heartbroken to share that our dear Health Leader Alisa Brenes passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 69. Alisa was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2000 and joined our LungCancer.net family in 2017. Since then, she has been a source of light and strength for so many in this community.

Alisa dedicated her life to lifting others up. Whether she was advocating for patients, sharing her story, or offering a kind word to someone in need, she gave herself fully to the cause.
