PET Scans
My husband had a PET scan yesterday with contrast. He has had them before as well as CT scans. Ever since we came back he has felt so bad that he stayed in bed most of the day, slept last night, and at 9:15 am today he is still in bed. He said it has never felt like it did when they injected him and has never affected him this way. Has anyone else experienced any thing like this?

I hope your husband is feeling better. This must be awful with him feeling so badly after the injection. If you haven't had a chance to yet, I would definitely say reach out to the doctor so that they know what happened. I tried to find articles from our members to see if anyone else had a bad experience. Really hope all is well a week later with your husband. Sometimes certain procedures like a contrast may have an effect. It may be a good idea to note this experience if it's needed in the future and the reaction to it. As mentioned this should be discussed with your husband's doctor to get to the root of the cause of such a reaction. Wishing him the very best!
