Looking for survivors on the NSCLC trial.

I am caregiver to a friend with stage 4 NSCLC.
After two years on Osimertinib, her cancer advanced, so now she is about to start the phase 3 trial:
Aminantamab and Lazertinib.... patients with EGFR mutated... in advanced or metastatic Non Small cell Lung cancer after Osimertinib failure.
It would be very helpful to speak to survivors who have done or are doing this trial.
Many thanks
Estelle

  1. Hi Estelle, Sorry your friend's cancer has advanced. Hopefully, someone can share their experience with this next cocktail of Aminantamab and Lazertinib. I was able to pull an earlier article that may also be helpful:

    Best!

    1. Hi , I'm sorry your friend is going through progression and has to change course. I have not heard of this combo cocktail after Osimertinib stops working, but I have heard of other second line treatments. May I ask if your friend is being treated at a comprehensive cancer center or a local regional hospital? I'm a big believer in second opinions whenever one is able. Please feel free to share more, we are here to support each other. Warmly, Alisa, LungCancer.net Team

      1. Hi . First, let me say that it is great that you are so supportive of and advocate on behalf of your friend. It makes a big difference for patients to have this kind of support. Second, the phase 3 study for amivantamab in combination with lazertinib versus osimertinib (known as the MARIPOSA study) is brand new and the methodology is described in this February article, along with the registration link: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34911336/. The second phase trial which was amivantamab and lazertnib administered in patients with no previous treatment (the CHRYSALIS study) yielded successful results. Hopefully you can get feedback from someone who participated in this trial. Wishing you and your friend the best and please feel free, if you like, to keep us posted and to ask further questions. 1. Hi . I just wanted to follow up on what I previously wrote with this very recent video (with transcript) on the CHRYSALIS and EXCLAIM Trial Outcomes: https://www.targetedonc.com/view/egfr-exon-20-insertion-positive-nsclc-chrysalis-and-exclaim-trial-outcomes. Hoping this information is helpful. Best, Richard (LungCancer.net Team)
