As Yolanda said, we have many patient survivors in our community that travel and the link she posted should offer many tips. I have traveled myself, twice in between my chemo treatments - once to Costa Rica and once to Florida's Disney World. And when I finished treatments, took a trip to China. All trips with just me and my ten year old twin sons. You may want to ask your doctor for an "air flight test" - the test involves breathing air that contains a similar level of oxygen to the amount found on an airplane through a face mask or mouthpiece for up to 20 minutes. Your healthcare professional will stay with you during the test to monitor your response. Please keep us posted and let us know what you decide. Hope you get away and have an enjoyable vacation! Warmly, Alisa, Lung Cancer Team Patient Leader
