doing well

First of all I want to say that we were blessed to have a super pulmonologist. He wasted no time in the "we will watch it" routine. As soon as it was even remotely big enough for a biopsy it was done. That is how it was caught at a stage 1. Within a few days we had a visit with the cancer doctor who explained my husband's options and advised a strong targeted regimen of radiation.
It began on June 17,2021 and ended on July 1, 2021. The result was only a scar was left. My husband never had any bad side effects or ever got sick. He has carried on just like he never had a problem.
Now we are going back next week for a follow up PET scan. I will let you know what the results are.
Good doctors like the ones we had are worth their weight in gold.

  1. Hi . Yes, doctors who are aggressive in getting a diagnosis and treatment in the early stages are worth their weight in gold. Wishing your husband the best with the upcoming scan and thank you for sharing. Best, Richard ( Team)

    1. That is fantastic to hear that your husband's cancer was caught so early and all is well. You are right, good doctors are worth a lot! Will be looking for that post-scan update! Warmly, Alisa, Team
