Chest X-Rays

My work company used to do chest x-rays on an annual basis. This was stopped. After about 3 years I realized I hadn't had one. I asked my doctor to get one and it turned out to be a problem.

The x-ray revealed a cancerous tumor

Later I had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor in my lung. It has now been twelve years and I am still cancer free.

Keep up with annual checks

My advice to people as the most important thing to keep up with are at least annual chest x-rays as the first step in recognizing something may be wrong. I wish I had done it sooner. It may have made it easier.
