My Brother

My brother’s diagnosis and advocacy

My brother, Don Stranathan, was diagnosed 10 years ago with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer. Over the years Don has become a tireless advocate for lung cancer awareness. I was so amazed by his knowledge level and by all of the social media support he had around lung cancer.

Meeting other advocates

At his 10-year “cancerversary” party this summer I was able to meet some of the other lung cancer warriors. I decided that I needed to become a lung cancer advocate to help bring awareness to lung cancer as well as radon. is one of many great organizations helping empower survivors and their families. Thank you!

Thank you for joining the network in empowering others in the memory of your brother. I do the same for my mother.
