Melanoma Stage IV in 2012

My melanoma had progressed to my brain, both lungs, liver, kidney, gallbladder, left adrenal gland, and spinal cord.

My journey of treatments

Three Gamma Knife radiations to the brain, two craniotomies, and the first clinical trial of ipilimumab and nivolumab. I absolutely loved having my port in. So easy to have just one needle prick and no lasting damage to my veins.

My remission

I am now, nine years in remission from melanoma. I am a very fortunate person.
