Awareness Month 2020: Learning About Ourselves and Each Other
November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month (LCAM). Though it's crucial to spread awareness year-round, we're taking time this month to learn about ourselves and each other. No two journeys are exactly alike, and the more we share about our lives the more awareness we will bring.
What has your lung cancer journey and experience been like? How has your life changed or stayed the same since your or a loved one's diagnosis? What have you learned about yourself and others from your experiences? What are your passions (lung cancer - related or not)?
Find out how to share and spread awareness below.
Share your story
When we all share our stories and read others, we show that lung cancer's impact is broad, and how it can impact any person around the world. Diagnosis and treatment experiences differ as do the lives we lead before and after diagnosis. The more we share, the more we will show the impact lung cancer has, and raise awareness about all aspects of our individual and collective journeys.
