Do I need to see an oncologist in addition to my surgeon for monitoring?

I have had a lobectomy on my right lung for non-small cell adenocarcinoma. No treatment needed after surgery. Do I need to see an oncologist in addition to my surgeon who will be monitoring me every 6 months?

  1. Hi ,
Were you seeing an oncologist prior to your lobectomy? If it would make you feel more comfortable seeing an oncologist in addition to your surgeon, I would say you certainly should! I hope you are doing well since the surgery. We are here for you!
    Well wishes,
