My Bucket List

I think my bucket list is quite long, so I better get started! Out of the 7 wonders of the world, I want to visit 5 of them. I would love to go and see the Taj Mahal in India, the Colosseum in Italy, Chichen Itza in Mexico, Machu Picchu in Peru, and the Great Wall of China. I also want to visit The Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, the Stonehenge, and take an Alaskan cruise.

Other spots to visit that are on my bucket list are Greece, Italy, France, Germany, Norway, Ireland, Scotland, Japan, Taiwan, Tahiti, Bora Bora, Fiji, Maldives, Seychelles, Samoa, Guam, all of central and South America.

Visit as many places as possible

I might as well say I want to travel the world or at least visit as many countries as I can. Is it possible? Probably not but my dream is to visit as many as I can while I’m still on this earth. I would also love to go on an Africa safari.

But seeing the Northern Lights is on top of my bucket list, I told my husband this is a must for me! I also want to go see the Great Barrier Reef, now I don’t want to scuba dive because I’m afraid, but snorkeling would be great. I’ve been asked why sky diving or scuba diving is not on my bucket list and it’s because I’m deathly scared of it. But I’ve been told the more reason to add it to my bucket list. Nope, it’s ok it doesn’t need to be added!

My bucket list gives me goals

On my bucket list, I want to take a road trip down Route 66. I just want to drive down route 66, stop and see all the wonderful things on that road. Eat at restaurants and stay at local hotels along the way. I recently added getting a car from Mary Kay.  Getting a free car from Mary Kay would be awesome. Also reaching directorship and having my own unit are on my bucket list.

I also added learning a third language, I speak English and Spanish but always wanted to learn a third language. Mandarin Chinese is my first choice, Arabic is my second, and third would be the native language of my indigenous ancestors from the Tepehuanes tribe in Mexico and the Taino tribe from the Caribbean.

I’ve always been fascinated by the Summer Olympics and so going to see the Olympics in person is on my bucket list. Along with bungee jumping and taking a ride in a hot air balloon. I also wouldn’t mind learning how to ski. It’s never been on my bucket list but living with lung cancer I’ve added a lot more adventures to my bucket list!

I think it’s a great idea to have a bucket list, it gives you something to look forward to and it can also help you plan to do some or all the things on your bucket list. I guess I better get busy!
