Has your faith or spirituality changed since diagnosis?

We've seen people post that their faith/spirituality has changed, or increased, or decreased, since their or their loved one's lung cancer diagnosis. What has your experience been?

  1. My faith has increased since my diagnosis, but I think more so because the internet became more popular over the years and I was able to find Facebook groups as well as meetup groups that shared my spiritual interests, which I had pre-diagnosis. But having lung cancer does make me more aware of mortality and living in the moment, so my increased faith and understanding is tied to my diagnosis also.

    1. 😀

  2. I’ve been an Atheist since I was a teenager and I’m 64 years old now. Nothing has changed for me since my diagnosis. I still don’t believe there is a God

    1. Thank you for taking the time to comment. Warmly, Alisa, lungcancer.net Team

  3. My beliefs have not changed since being diagnosed with stage4 nslc.I have no religion and never will.We all find different paths.Follow your heart🙂

    1. I'm not religious either by birth or by something that happened later. Sometimes I wonder what the feeling of being religious is.
